Grace McAdams learns her business partner and ex-husband tells her he is moving his former girlfriend into the home they once shared. To add insult to injury “Angel” is pregnant and Grace, who is barren, will deal with this fact daily. Brian, the ex, tried to maintain a friendship with the ever angry Grace.When a postcard sent to her deceased mother arrived in the mail Grace decided to take a vacation to kill two birds. She will find this mysterious relative and not have to witness Brian moving in his pregnant girlfriend.Once in Florida Grace meets her “love guru” great aunt Millie and learns family secrets and the consequences. I wish there had been some resolution between Grace and her long absent father. Throughout the book, his leaving was mentioned and the affect it had on young Grace and her mother. I chose this book for the title. This is a tough time for so many, & I felt the need.I found something I needed, but not what I expected.As someone who has moved around in life, I found Grace's life where her furniture was still arranged as it had been in her childhood impossible to relate to. Her circumspect limited life in a small town seemed suffocating to me.Then she does something that completely shames & chagrined her. She feels the need to escape, & with total serendipity finds a relative she never knew she had & escaped to visit her.The rest of the book has everything: a surprising revelation, budding romance, inner struggles & their resolution, self-discovery & more.I loved this book Then why only four stars? Because I wanted more.
